Last Friday I went over to Jason's and Alana's engagement party at Highways Tabaret before going over to the YSA Christmas dance.
I didn't get any photos of the dance, but got some for the engagement party.
Just for a bit of laughs, this is taken from the 70's show, "There are 3 rings to marriage; the engagement ring, the wedding ring, and the suffer-ring."
Not necessarily true, but definitely was a great laugh.

Well, Centrelink has put me into working for the dole in putting together, or repairing computers for various organisations such as schools and charities. On my first day, I received a call from Australian Talent Management to get me started on their work, but I didn't have a portfolio.
Well, I've just gone in today to their photo studio to get a portfolio started.

Amidst all the Monster Hunter hunting I do, I have written up a review for Uncharted 2 Among Thieves.
But mainly what's been happening is that I have been trying to put together my own little air conditioner for my room.
I need a fan but the problem is that it is only blowing warm air, so by making this, I am trying to replicate those cooler fans which blow out cold air, and to hopefully cool down my room.
Other than that, a lot of fellowshipping with the missionaries and ice skating at Docklands tonight.

Well, as mentioned, I went down to Docklands Wonderland Park, I believe it was called, where the ice skating rig was held. It was in an outside tent while they were still constructing the proper official rig.
Things were well but the ice had bumps, like blocks of ice put together rather than one smooth plain.
I managed and was able to get moving, though not speeding fast like many others. I would credit my quick learning to my experience with skiing also.
We finished up and had some gelati and mingled before going home.
Upon arrival to my home station to get my bicycle, some punks had ripped off the wire which changes my gears, and also the part which changes the gear itself.
I'll probably shorten the chain to make it a one gear bike I guess; such a hassle.
Nonetheless, a nice relaxing night out with the YSA of the church. |

Well, over the past week or so, had a bit of fun, but the main course was all Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Now that it's a new month, my internet is back to normal speeds, and I can jump back online again for more action.
I also need a new camera now as auto-focus no longer works properly.
I'm thinking of getting this camera from Chinavasion and it's a 1080P HD Video Camera.
Aside from that, my friend Rohan has left for his mission to Italy, and I was over as his house the other week for his farewell. Abby had her little birthday celebration, and there was a talent night just the Saturday night that went by.
There was a lot of musical talent, and we held a little art exhibition along side, but nonetheless, a relaxing night to sit down, or stand in my case, and enjoy some simple entertainment.
