Last night, for a charity function, a speed dating session was held to which I was pulled along to.

Being told the theme was red, myself and a few others went shopping on the Tuesday. On Wednesday, I received a message from the organisers that red was only preferable, not mandatory; well, there goes more money down the drain.

Overall, it was an enjoyable night, something different, and something to do.

So to start the night, we went for some dinner and Dumplings Plus in the city.

The food was average, the only thing that was decent would probably be their dumplings only.

Dinner

As any speed dating session, the girls would stay seated, while the guys would rotate. We were all given 4 minutes per person, but half the guys would sit that extra minute or two for the rotation talking to the girl.

Group

At the end of the night, we had the voting for most datable guy and girl, and also a raffle draw. I didn't think the it was sufficient as we only went half way through the group, probably just the amount of time wasted by all the guys.

Well, end of speed dating session, I left for home. I couldn't be bothered staying for the socialising, and it was getting late. Not having a train home is annoying.
