Yesterday we went to the Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum at BYU, then did some baptisms for the dead and toured the church office building and Beehive House.

And today I went up to Park City to help Elder Tuckett prepare the condo for the next guests to stay there and we did some hot tubbing while we were at it.

So we drove down near BYU for Jenny to go for her interview in getting employment and while waiting, we decided to go down to the museum since she wouldn't be finished for 2 hours.

You get to see different creatures and model wildlife and plants in the museum and before leaving we ran into a small group which were being shown a blue tongue [lizard] and boa snake. We had a chance to touch them also and the skin and muscle on them were distinctively different between the two.

My favourite part was going through some of the small photography section and finding a nice photo shot of a headless bird in flight.

Headless Bird

It was what I thought at first glance until I went to take a closer look and realised it was just a small head.

Once Jenny finished, we headed down to Salt Lake City to baptise for the dead at the Salt Lake Temple.

After which we went for a tour at the church office. We went to the top observation deck to have a look around the city but because it was foggy, it wasn't the greatest of sights, but still nice.
We then went down and had a look at a replicate painting by Grant Romney Clawson, originally done by Harry Anderson, which the church wanted to use on the empty wall to both decorate and portray the mission of the church.

Before heading home, Elder Tuckett thought it'd be good to quickly go through the Beehive House which was Brigham Young's house. It was a big house, but at the same time, small, as corridors and rooms weren't as big as they are these days, but with many of. His son had also made extensions to the house and you would definitely have to say it was a olden day mansion or so.
The room I liked most was the room Brigham Young would invite dignified guests to as they discussed and talked.

Meeting Room

Brigham Young is one of my new idols because of his dedication to family and how he worked hard because he wanted the best for his family.

Going up to Park City, we looked around the condo to make sure everything was still working and functional for the next guests to live in it this Friday. We are still trying to figure out how to use the oven and need to fix the fan underneath, but other than that, just about everything else is functional, with minor tweaks needed here and there.

After we finished, we did some hot tubbing just cool off and relax. Before that though, Elder Tuckett had to climb around the condo to the back to shovel out the snow which had dropped from the roof and piled up near the door, blocking it.
While tubbing, because there was no snow on the deck to roll around on, the next best thing we had was the pile of snow on on the side of the door, so we used that.

Hot Tubbing

Very tingly feel when going back into the hot tub.

Once finished, we went down to grab a late lunch, early dinner before heading home.

It was a long day as we were going back and forth having a look at other resorts nearby and ski lifts, but we made it home for a bit more dinner.
