We left Tuesday morning for the airport and flew over down to California.
On arrival, we headed straight down to the San Diego Temple to do baptisms for the dead.
We took a turn too early and didn't know where we were and Elder Tuckett thought this would be the best time for him to buy that little GPS he'd always wanted to have; with its help, we made it to the temple.

On Wednesday, we went into Disneyland for our first time. Our goal was to go through Disneyland and as quick as possible and the best method of doing so was 'process of elimination'.
We would look at what we knew wouldn't much of a ride to what would be more interesting and finished them during the day.

The activities we did included:

  • "Honey, I shrunk the Audience"
  • Innoventions
  • Space Mountain*
  • Star Tours
  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad*
  • Splash Mountain*
  • Haunted Mansion
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Indiana Jones Adventure*
  • Jungle Cruise
  • Tarzan's Treehouse
  • Enchanted Tiki Room*
  • "it's a small world"

I've starred what I liked most or thought were interesting. Unfortunately Matterhorn Bobsleds was closed for renovations, else we would have gone on that also; one of the best rides I've heard.

At the end of the day, we watched the Fantasmic show for wizard Mickey against all of the evils of Disney.

Today we went to Califonia Adventure Park; next to Disneyland. Again, we wanted to go through as much as we can as tomorrow and Saturday are our last days in America before leaving back to Australia and I wanted to do as much as I can.

The activities we did were:

  • Soarin' Over California*
  • Grizzly River Run*
  • Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
  • Toy Story Midway Mania!
  • California Screamin'*
  • Maliboomer*
  • Mulholland Madness
  • Orange Stinger
  • The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror*

We managed to go on every ride at least two times except Orange Stinger as that made us a little dizzy and wasn't very exciting.

At the end of the day, we watched the parade march of different Disney characters before heading over to Disneyland again since they were still opened.

We wanted to do the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage which we missed out on yesterday.

While waiting Elder and Sister Tuckett, we decided to hop onto Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. When they arrived, Elder Tuckett wanted to go onto the Indiana Jones since he missed out yesterday so we went over that one, took a ride, and quickly made haste to the submarine before finishing the day with dinner at Johnny Rockets.

Tomorrow we plan on going to another temple and touring around Los Angeles.
