I've recently downloaded the demo to the Batman Arkham Asylum game which I will definitely be getting purchasing on, or soon after, release.

The game itself is simply brilliant and you will feel just like Batman.

Utilising a freeflow combat system, fighting feels seemless and continual, rather than blocks of attacks put together. You also flow from one enemy to the next, including counter attacks flawlessly.

Graphics are also very impress also thanks to the high polygon count and special effects. However, although textures are quite detailed, they're not nearly as detailed as they really look. If you take away the touch ups, the textures can be quite plain or blocky.
Animations are smooth and fluid but some knockouts can be a little out of place.

You'll enjoy the music and sound as you zip across, bash your foes, a adrenline pumping music that takes you back to the days of Batman; but not that far back with one of my all time favourite TV series with the 'fatman' and Robin.
Voicing can be a little off but maintains the deep sound of Batman, along with the hysterical laughs of Joker.

Detective mode plays smoothly into the game to highlight points of interest and controls are easy to work with.

Bringing back the classic, I'm excited for this game and will see how it goes when I get to play the full thing.

Playstation 3 users get to play as the Joker also, so I'm glad I have one.
